Hi Joan, Some advice from Cutie Pie's mother (Cutie Pie is a tiny 9 year old Maltese). I grind up Vitamin C Tablets, I give 250 MG to Cutie Pie when I see she might catch a cold. I have asked several vets and they have all said there is nothing wrong with doing this. In fact, Dr. Andrew Weil has advised us humans to megadose on Vit C when we come down with with a cold, and it works for me!!!. I grind up a tablet, mix it with warm water, and use an eyedropper to put it down the doggie's throat.
